Endless Daze

2019

A year ago I attended my first Endless Daze festival at the Silwerstroom Resort on the West Coast of South Africa. The smaller intimate setting, the certain type of music (actual bands playing actual instruments), the type of crowd attending and being so close to the ocean (literally camping on the beach) is what attracted me the most. It was an incredible first experience and easily became my new favourite South African music festival. As I got home that Sunday afternoon I vowed to return again in 2019.

Little did I know how special Endless Daze 2019 would turn out to be (you could feel in in the air even before arriving) - It turned out to be the swan song of everybody's favourite Medicine Boy and we witnessed (from televisions at a tropical beach bar in the campsite) how South Africa won the 2019 Rugby World Cup. And of course that performance from YAK the last night.

I took a few rolls of film with this year to try and capture some of this energy.
